Job summary

The University of Connecticut Foundation, Inc. seeks a Director of Principal Gift Donor Experience to advance the principal gift program through personalized stewardship and engagement journeys for top donors and families.

You will partner with development officers and campus leaders to create seamless donor experiences across visits, events, and communications. Responsibilities include benchmarking, creating donor materials, coordinating with faculty and deans, and ensuring stewardship reflects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in donor relations/experience, or relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage personalized stewardship and engagement plans for principal gift donors, prospects, and families.
• Coordinate donor engagement with university leaders, faculty, coaches, students, researchers, clinicians, and other campus partners.
• Prepare leadership briefings and donor profiles for effective donor conversations.
• Identify opportunities to connect donors with programs that align with philanthropic goals.
• Develop customized reports, briefings, and stewardship materials showing outcomes.
