Prologis is seeking a Director, Preconstruction & Development Cost Strategy for the U.S. East region. You’ll lead cost intelligence, early budgeting, and procurement planning to inform investment decisions and improve development velocity.

You will partner with Development, Procurement, Construction and Capital Deployment to translate market conditions, pricing and design implications into actionable guidance, supporting multiple pursuits while expanding data capture and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial construction with preconstruction or design-build in industrial/warehouse projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, constructability, and cost drivers.
• Experience supporting feasibility, budgeting, scoping, or pursuit strategy activities.
• Experience evaluating VE opportunities and design-cost tradeoffs during development.
• Experience leading GC RFP processes, contractor engagement, or proposals evaluation.
• Ability to translate market conditions and pricing into actionable business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills including bid leveling, scenario analysis and cost analysis.
