Job summary

MBTA is seeking a senior leader to supervise a 200+ power systems team responsible for inspection, maintenance, and upgrades of high and low voltage infrastructure. You will steer capital projects, drive safety, and coordinate across Engineering & Maintenance divisions to ensure reliable transit power delivery.

This role emphasizes predictive maintenance, data analytics, and strategic planning to modernize maintenance practices and ensure system safety for rail and facilities throughout MBTA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in transit/industrial settings managing engineering/maintenance processes.
• 7+ years in people management and/or enterprise-wide project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 200+ power systems maintenance staff, including Directors, Managers, Supervisors and field crews.
• Provide leadership to E&M, SCM, MOW, and SFS functions and coordinate with department leadership when needed.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets; align resources with strategic goals.
