Job summary

Oklo Inc. is seeking a Director, Power Business Real Estate to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This role owns all site control activities for the Aurora powerhouse development pipeline and will lead a team of Senior Land Managers and Analysts.

You will report to the VP of Origination and collaborate with Development, Project Development, and Environmental & Permitting teams on site feasibility, zoning, and regulatory alignment as we advance nuclear clean energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in energy project land acquisition, real estate, or land management.
• Proven experience executing site control across a portfolio of complex energy projects.
• Strong negotiation skills across agricultural, industrial, and government-owned land.
• Familiarity with GIS tools for site screening and parcel analysis.
• Experience working in multi-state environments with varying regulatory and title requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead site identification, screening, and acquisition across the pipeline.
• Negotiate and execute land option, purchase, sale, and easement agreements.
• Manage title reviews, surveys, and curative title work across active sites.
• Build a pipeline of prospective sites meeting siting criteria.
• Coordinate with Development Engineering and permitting teams on feasibility and risk.
• Manage landowner and broker relationships across multiple states.
• Over time, lead a team of land and real estate professionals.
• Identify sites for Isotope production facilities near Aurora sites.
• Lead land and real estate activities for Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses.
