Job summary

SB Energy in the United States seeks a Director, Power Generation Development & Integration to lead the on-site completion, commissioning, and transition to commercial operation of a major 1.2 GW combined-cycle power facility in Pike County, Ohio.

The role oversees construction, commissioning, operations readiness, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and long-term campus development, aligning safety and reliability with the project’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in power generation, energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead completion, commissioning, and startup of the 1.2 GW facility.
• Direct the Owner's Team through construction, commissioning, testing, and commercial operation.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget and project performance.
• Engage with EPC contractors, engineers, OEMs, transmission providers, and suppliers.
• Drive risk resolution, change orders, contracts, and commercial decisions.
• Establish governance, metrics, and reporting for project execution.
• Oversee transition from construction to operations and maintenance strategies.
