Job summary

SB Energy in the United States is seeking a Campus Project Lead to oversee the 1.2 GW geothermal? No, gas-fired. This on-site role will coordinate construction, commissioning, and transition to commercial operation for a major power plant on the Texas campus.

You will direct cross-disciplinary teams and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will also shape the long-term campus development, including data center and AI infrastructure opportunities, while managing budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years in power generation or large capital projects.
• Experience leading EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial, financial, contract, and risk management skills.
• Ability to lead construction, commissioning, and startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead the completion, commissioning, and startup of the 1.2 GW plant.
• Direct the Owner's Team through construction, commissioning, testing, and commercial operation.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget and performance.
• Engage with EPC contractors, engineers, OEMs, and utilities.
• Develop governance, metrics, and reporting for project execution.
• Oversee transition from construction to operations and O&M strategies.
• Manage budgets and long-term strategic planning.
• Oversee fuel, transmission, and major service contracts.
• Maintain relationships with ERCOT, PUCT, FERC and regulators.
• Develop long-term campus master plan and future development opportunities.
