Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Director of Postgraduate Well‑being to provide strategic leadership for interns, residents, fellows, and other trainees. You will partner with executives to identify factors affecting well‑being and translate data into actionable improvements.

You will lead evidence‑informed education and interventions, promote psychological safety, and advance enterprise well‑being initiatives across MUSC, including outreach to program leadership and faculty.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology, behavioral health, education, organizational science, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in well-being, interventions, and program development.
• Experience with postgraduate trainees and academic health systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of a postgraduate well‑being strategy.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for program and institution leaders.
• Collaborate with education leaders to address workload, culture, and safety.
• Support access to mental health resources and well‑being interventions.
• Represent the unit on enterprise initiatives and research activities.
