Job summary

FOX Entertainment is hiring a Director, Media Systems Engineering & Support to lead the engineering and technical support teams focused on reliability, automation, and workflow tooling that keeps Entertainment’s systems running and modern.

The role is a dual position – strategic partner for long-term technology plans and hands-on operational owner. Regular on-site attendance is required, four days per week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading post-production engineering and/or technical support teams, including technical program leadership.
• Experience owning technology roadmaps and delivering capital or infrastructure projects on plan.
• Hands-on experience developing AI/agentic workflows.
• Strong, hands-on experience with the modern post-production stack – high-performance shared storage, MAM and render-farm management, pipeline tooling, and remote-workstation/virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and prioritize the engineering support teams behind Entertainment’s owned post-production environments.
• Own the long-term architecture and roadmap for owned systems and platforms, and build executive-level narratives that align leadership behind decisions.
• Own the day-to-day reliability and maintenance of on-prem infrastructure and post systems – storage, render and virtualization, editorial/finishing/graphics systems, and facility technology.
• Deliver capital and infrastructure projects against plan, with risks defined, clear RACI ownership, and blockers or delays surfaced early.
• Use AI and agentic workflows to automate and modernize the work, extending what a lean team can deliver.
