Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Portfolio Manager (Director Program/Project Management) to lead a complex portfolio in Advisor Services. You will oversee health, planning, investment and execution, partnering with senior leaders to advance strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will guide teams, balance demand with delivery capacity, and bring transparency to costs, dependencies, and performance while fostering accountability and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of program or project leadership experience.
• Experience managing $15+ million annually in program or project work.
• Recent direct people-management experience, including 4+ employees and responsibility for objectives, feedback, development, and performance reviews.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills that drive consistent execution, quality documentation, and successful business outcomes.
• Strong risk management, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to partner with senior business and technology leaders and influence portfolio trade-off decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
