Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Director of POM Product Management to lead our Enterprise Transformation team in New York, Pittsburgh, or Lake Mary. You’ll shape the product strategy, drive AI and data-driven initiatives, and partner with engineering to deliver impactful software and services.

The role requires 10–12+ years in product development, strong leadership, and a track record of launching products with cross-functional teams, preferably in finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• 10-12+ years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
• Prior experience working in a financial industry preferred.
• A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams, and/or working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders and product development teams.
• People leadership experience managing and leading a product management team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall product strategy for the organization.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance product strategy, delivery, and user experience.
• Use subject matter expertise, experience and thought leadership to influence and direct the product management team, key stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives.
