Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose seeks a Director of Project Portfolio Management to lead the PMO, establish standardized processes, and govern the project portfolio across the organization. The role combines build-and-run responsibilities, initiating PMO capability and then maturing ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project/program management with leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency in PM methodologies and portfolio tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project/program management across portfolios.
• Proven leadership in building or leading a PMO; process, tools, governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio health and governance; deliver regular performance reports to executives.
• Design, build, and implement PMO processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Manage resource planning and staffing mix for projects; coach and develop PM staff.
• Lead direct projects (Investigation) from initiation to closure and stakeholder communications.
