Job summary

Nextpower LLC in Nashville, TN seeks a Director, PMO for the Services BU to build and lead Change Management and Performance Management functions. You will partner across Product, Finance, Operations, and Sales to translate strategy into execution and drive governance, analytics, and customer insights.

The role requires 10+ years in business operations, PMI certification, and strong leadership with a track record of scaling programs and driving results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Analytics, or related field.
• PMI certification.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business operations, program management, operational excellence, analytics, or related functions, including experience leading teams.
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling organizational capabilities, teams, processes, or operating models.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and business transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of performance management, strategic planning, business analytics, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear priorities and actions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, including experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Performance Management capability, establishing the management systems required to connect strategy, execution, and business results.
• Partner with Services leadership, Product Management, and Finance to establish strategic planning processes that translate business priorities into clear objectives, roadmaps, investments, and measures of success.
• Establish the BU’s performance management framework, including OKRs, KPIs, executive scorecards, governance forums, and monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Build scalable reporting and analytics capabilities that provide leaders and Product Management with timely, trusted insights into performance across finance, operations, service, and customers.
• Partner with Customer Success to establish a Voice of the Customer capability that informs actions to improve customer experience and offerings.
• Build and develop a high-performing Performance Management team to support growth and maturity of Services.
• Build and lead the Program Management capability with governance and tools to execute cross-functional initiatives.
• Build and lead the Continuous Improvement capability focused on customer experience, efficiency, and automation.
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing Business Operations organization across Change and Performance Management.
• Define roles, operating models, standards, and ways of working as the function scales.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to Services leadership and influence priorities across boundaries
