Job summary

Alkermes is seeking a Commercial Infrastructure PMO leader to plan, execute, and govern critical commercial infrastructure initiatives in a hybrid work environment. The role requires coordinating with IT, Data Analytics, Insights, Commercial Operations, Finance and Procurement to align project strategy and execution.

Hybrid arrangement with 60% in-office and 40% remote; onsite in Waltham, MA at least 3 days per week; not eligible for fully remote work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10–12 years experience in pharma/biotech Commercial/PMO or consulting in pharma/biotech markets
  • BS in Marketing, Project Management, Business or related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive project management support across commercial infrastructure workstreams and projects, including project plans, RAID logs, dependency tracking, milestone schedules, budget and governance reporting
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams by coordinating alignment on project strategy and operations, including timelines, deliverables, and risk discussions
  • Prepare executive status updates, steering committee materials, and leadership dashboards
  • Manage day-to-day infrastructure operations and charter new initiatives
  • Partner with Omnichannel leadership to track execution of platform initiatives
  • Develop reporting and dashboard solutions to provide visibility into marketing tech stack priorities and implementation activities
  • Support commercial integration efforts with acquisitions and transformation initiatives
  • Evaluate and document commercial infrastructure needs, systems, processes, governance models, and future-state operating requirements
  • Facilitate working sessions and develop integration plans, roadmaps, and timelines
  • Design and maintain PMO solutions to support commercial infrastructure workstreams
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting for visibility into progress, risks, milestones, and resources
  • Standardize reporting methodologies and governance processes across multiple initiatives

Job description

The Commercial InfrastructurePMwill serve as a key member of the Commercial PMO, supporting the planning, execution, and governance of critical commercial infrastructure initiatives. This role will focus on program managementwhile needing to understand andstrategicallypressure test how project level requirements will affect the Commercial infrastructure ecosystem. Thisimpliesthe candidate will need to haveknowledgeof Commercialdata &applicationssuch as CRM, DataArchitecture & Marketing TechStacktosupportworkstream trackingrelated to new initiatives and existing larger programs.This role willbe responsible forestablishingoverarchingPMO deploymentstrategytosupport CommercialInfrastructure projects in partnership withIT PMOLeadership.

Alkermes has recently adopted a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home. This position is eligible for the hybrid workplace model, requiring work to be completed onsite at our Waltham, MA office at least 3 days per week. This role is not eligible for fully remote work.

Responsibilities

Commercial Program Management & Governance

  • Provide comprehensive project management support acrossCommercial infrastructure-related workstreamsand projects, includingestablishingandmaintainingproject plans, RAID logs, dependency tracking, milestone schedules,budgetand governance reporting.
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams by coordinatingproactive and ongoingalignment on project strategyand operations includingdriving shared goals, cleartimelines/deliverables,androutinetransparent discussion of issues and risksin a manner whichdelivers long-termsolutions.
  • Prepare executive-level status updates, steering committee materials, and leadership dashboards.
  • Manageday-to-day infrastructure operations via existing end-to-end conversations while chartering and stabilizing newinitiatives.

Marketing Tech StackInfrastructure Support

  • Partner with Omnichannel leadership to track execution of key platform initiatives.
  • Develop reporting and dashboard solutions that support visibility intomarketing tech stackprioritiesand implementation activities.

Commercial Integration & Infrastructure Planning

  • Support commercial integration efforts associated with business acquisitions and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Help evaluate and document commercial infrastructure needs, systems, processes, governance models, and future-state operating requirements.
  • Facilitate working sessions and help develop integration plans, roadmaps, and implementation timelines.

ProjectPortfolio ManagementPlatformToSupportAdministration & Dashboard Maintenance

  • Design andmaintainPMOsolutions to support commercial infrastructure workstreams.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting to provide visibility into project progress, risks, milestones, and resource needs.
  • Standardize Commercial infrastructure reporting methodologies and governance processes across multiple initiatives.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of10-12years’ experience working for a pharmaceutical/biotech company in Commercial, PMO, or experience working for a consulting firm focused on pharmaceutical/biotech markets
  • BS in a Marketing, Project Management,Businessor related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Actively seeks feedback andpossessesa growth mindset; is open to learning from new perspectives
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities
  • Expert knowledge of project management best practices and tools (MS Excel; MS PowerPoint and/or knowledge of PM systems such asSmartsheet/Planviewispreferred)

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $185,000 to $212,000. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance pay bonus.
