Job summary

Kin is building the platform for modern homeownership. We’ve expanded from home insurance into auto, flood, property tax appeals, and home financing.

The Director of Product Management will oversee two high-leverage bets: a configurable policy platform and the Kin Customer Portal, driving a unified product experience across Kin’s offerings. You’ll lead PM teams, set a sequencing roadmap, and partner with engineering, design, actuary, underwriting, finance, and legal to deliver fast, scalable

Qualifications

12+ years of professional experience in product management and leadership.
Experience with platform modernization or re-platforming at scale.
Technical fluency to contribute to architecture and data model discussions.
Experience in Fintech, Insurtech, or financial services.
Proven track record of building PM talent and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

Define and own the multi-year product strategy for Kin's policy platform and customer experience.
Lead, develop, and hire a team of product managers with strong cross-functional collaboration.
Prioritize initiatives between foundational platform work and customer-facing products.
Partner with engineering to shape API strategy and configuration models.
Drive the Home Hub from current foundation to a digital destination for customers.
