Job summary

Columbus Springs-East, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a results-driven leader to guide the department and ensure high-quality patient care. You’ll oversee operations, staffing, and alignment with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.

The role includes directing budgets, audits, and process improvement while fostering professional growth and a patient-centered continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures departmental operations stay within allocated funding.
• Coordinates and directs internal and external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred

• Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
