Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in New Jersey is seeking a Director to own the strategy, standards, and roadmap for planning tools used by Program Managers and GPTs to plan drug development programs. You’ll partner with BI&T and translate portfolio needs into business cases and priorities, balancing short-term and long-term platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS preferred.
• 8+ years in pharma drug development, portfolio or enterprise systems.
• Experience owning or governing planning tools (e.g., Planisware, MS Project) at enterprise scale.
• Experience sponsoring or scaling AI/ML tool integration or digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning tools portfolio strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Translate portfolio needs into business cases and priorities for BI&T and partners.
• Define measures of success: adoption, data quality, and reduced manual effort; report to leadership.
• Lead governance, standards, and training programs for planning tool adoption.
• Build senior-level partnerships with cross-functional teams and escalate risks when needed.
