We are seeking an experienced PL Actuarial Director to lead, mentor, and develop a team of actuaries and analysts. This high-visibility role involves driving strategic insights, collaborating across teams, and influencing key business decisions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Lead & Develop a Team: Manage and mentor actuaries & analysts, fostering growth and professional development.
• Collaborate & Influence: Work with PL division leadership to develop and execute business strategies.
• Drive Pricing Strategy: Oversee PL Actuarial pricing strategy creation and implementation, and support product development. Partner with Data Science & Predictive Analytics teams to refine pricing models.
• Innovate & Improve: Lead the development of standards and practices for the team.

What We're Looking For:

• 15+ years of experience as a fellowed (FCAS) actuary, including at least 5 years in leadership with a passion for talent development.
• Proven experience in actuarial pricing within the P&C industry.
• Proficiency with actuarial software and data analytics tools.
• Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills to drive initiatives forward.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends affecting insurance.
