We are seeking an experienced PL Actuarial Director to lead, mentor, and develop a team of actuaries and analysts. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to drive strategic insights, collaborate across multiple teams, and influence key business decisions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Develop a Team – Manage and mentor a team of actuaries & analysts, fostering their growth and professional development.
• Collaborate & Influence – Work closely with our PL division leadership to develop and execute business strategies.
• Drive Pricing Strategy – Oversee PL Actuarial pricing strategy creation and implementation as well as product development support. In addition, partner with our Data Science & Predictive Analytics team to develop and refine pricing models.
• Innovate & Improve – Lead the development of standards and practices for the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15 years of continued growth as a fellowed (FCAS) actuary including at least 5 years of leadership experience with a demonstrated passion for developing talent and fostering a high-performing team.
• Proven experience in actuarial pricing within the P&C industry.
• Comfort with a variety of actuarial software and other data analytics tools.
• Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to drive initiatives forward.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry trends affecting the insurance sector.
