Job summary

Hill Physicians Medical Group seeks a Director of Pillar Practices to drive growth and profitability across Hill Health and independent Pillar Practices. You will own the P&L, staffing plans, and executive reporting to support member growth and financial sustainability.

Lead physician recruiting, marketing, and investments while coordinating with Epic, IT, finance, and operations to optimize performance and outcomes across the service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in physician practice operations and strategic planning.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and execute growth strategies in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of marketing and growth planning.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with physicians and executives.
• Excellent communication skills for executive-level audience.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment, collaborating with leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
• Ability to define report requirements and perform necessary analysis independently, to draw conclusions and make business decisions.
• Experience with Epic workflows and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Hill Health’s P&L, budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization and expense management.
• Set operating strategy and translate objectives into actionable plans.
• Provide reporting and recommendations to executive leadership and Board.
• Direct Practice Manager and ensure day-to-day execution and staffing.
• Build staffing models aligned with demand, capacity and financial targets.
• Maintain relationships with physicians and APPs to support recruitment and retention.
• Use data to make timely business decisions.
• Sponsor Epic reporting, templates, scheduling, panel management and patient access initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic issues and advance objectives.
