Job summary

Knox Community Hospital is seeking a Director of Physician Services Strategy & Recruitment to lead the strategic direction of the physician enterprise, oversee recruitment, contracting, workforce planning, and provider relations to ensure a high‑performing medical staff.

Reporting to the COO, the Director will align hospital leadership with physicians across service lines and drive growth, clinical excellence, and physician workforce stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in physician recruitment, provider relations, or healthcare leadership.
• Experience in strategic planning, contracting, and physician workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive physician services strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and integration of physicians and APPs.
• Manage contracting, compensation models, and performance-based agreements.
• Foster physician relations, communication, and alignment with hospital leadership.
• Lead workforce planning and succession planning to support stability and expansion.
