Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Director of Physician Services II to oversee operations and strategic initiatives for the North Florida Physician Services team. This role engages hospital facilities and practices across multiple locations to improve care delivery, efficiency, and physician collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in clinical operations and a strong background in financial management within healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; CMPE completion a plus.
• Experience in leadership across multiple locations and clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for hospital facilities and physician services across multiple specialties.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with hospital and operations teams.
• Oversee practice operations, budgets, and financial performance.
• Direct strategic projects: patient flow, satisfaction, volumes, billing and coding.
• Supervise physicians and staff; engage with leadership to review performance metrics.
• Oversee physician recruiting and contracting in collaboration with colleagues.
• Drive growth and implement quality, patient-centered care initiatives.
