Role Summary

This newly created role leads the global strategy, deployment, and governance of all physical security technology across the company's locations including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, proprietary retail stores, and corporate offices. The Director will translate security requirements into scalable, enterprise‑grade technology solutions — and will be the company's foremost expert on physical security systems integration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Own the global physical security technology roadmap, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, alarm systems, and sensor networks.
  • Manage corporate real estate security technology projects.
  • Evaluate, procure, and manage vendors and integrators across all major regions.
  • Define standards and architecture for security technology deployments at company locations globally.
  • Lead all technology integration efforts — ensuring physical security systems interoperate effectively with broader IT and operational infrastructure.
  • Partner with IT, facilities, e‑commerce, and regional security teams to deliver consistent, high‑performance security technology environments through a platform lifecycle: selection, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Drive innovation — identifying and piloting emerging technologies (AI‑based surveillance, biometric access, IoT sensors) relevant to our product security and protection.
  • Manage capital and operational budgets for technology programs globally.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 10+ years in physical security technology, with at least 5 years leading enterprise‑scale deployments across multiple sites or geographies.
  • Hands‑on expertise with enterprise video surveillance management, access control, and alarm platforms, both cloud‑based and on‑prem (e.g. Genetec, Lenel, Honeywell, Axis).
  • Experience in consumer goods manufacturing, retail, e‑commerce fulfillment, or high‑value inventory environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity principles as they apply to physical systems (OT/IT convergence), and systems integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑vendor technology programs on time and on budget.
  • Certifications such as PSP, ASIS, or relevant vendor certifications (Genetec, Lenel) are a plus.
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed global organization with competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, with occasional travel up to 75%.
