The Director, Philanthropic Operations at Trust for the National Mall provides leadership for all operational aspects of the Philanthropy team, aligning strategies with fundraising goals. This role reports to the Chief Revenue & Growth Officer and collaborates with Communications, Operations, Programs, and Projects teams to advance the Trust's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of nonprofit philanthropy and/or operations management experience.
• Experience with capital campaigns is a plus.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and revenue modeling skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operational policies, procedures, and documentation for the Philanthropy team.
• Lead process improvements to streamline workflows and handoffs across gift officers and Finance.
• Manage cross-functional projects with clear timelines and owners.
• Optimize fundraising systems, reporting, and data integrity across donor management platforms.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Philanthropy Operations team and recruit as needed.
• Prepare and review team budgets, and report fundraising performance to leadership.
