Job summary

Whatcom Land Trust is seeking a Philanthropy Director to drive the resources needed to fulfill its mission. This role will plan, develop, and oversee philanthropy and fundraising goals, shaping strategies and benchmarks to sustain the organization’s growth and impact.

The Director will lead donor relations and campaigns, building a culture of philanthropy throughout the Trust to achieve short- and long-term revenue targets that support its expanding programs and operating needs.

Job description

The Philanthropy Director is responsible for building the resources needed to achieve the Trust’s mission, and to plan, develop and oversee organizational philanthropy and fundraising goals, strategies and benchmarks. The primary responsibility of this position is to achieve the short- and long-term fundraising goals by fostering a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization and achieving revenue sufficient to support our growing program and operating needs.
