Job summary

Amgen seeks a Director, Pharmacy Trade - Retail to lead relationships with major US retail pharmacy accounts and emerging channels. You will shape the US retail strategy, negotiate with top partners, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient access and launch readiness for new products such as MariTide.

The role requires deep experience in pharmacy/commercial leadership, a strong track record in negotiations, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders across Brand,

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with 8+ years in pharmacy, retail, healthcare or related commercial roles and significant negotiation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience and leadership responsibilities; minimum 2 years managing people.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts and negotiate complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships with major US retail pharmacy accounts and partners to enable patient access.
• Develop and execute US retail/channel strategy translating Trade & Channel objectives into actions.
• Coach and develop an Account Manager team for pharmacy account management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Market Access, Patient Services, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal.
• Drive launch readiness and early execution for MariTide and other products.
