Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL seeks a Lead for the radiochemistry team within Process Chemistry to label experimental drug candidates from preclinical to clinical stages. You will drive radiolabeling strategies using tritium and 14C and mentor staff.

Role: Lead the radiochemistry team within AbbVie's Process Chemistry department, focusing on labeling experimental drug candidates from preclinical to clinical stages.

Responsibilities:

• develop and execute radiolabeling strategies for new drug substances using tritium and 14C

Requirements:

• BS (20+ years), MS (18+ years), or PhD (12+ years) in Chemistry or related field, with 8+ years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience
