Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director of Product Development & Supply (PDS) Business Development to lead complex acquisitions, integrations, and alliances. You will translate scientific, manufacturing, and supply considerations into clear transaction strategies and executable plans.

Reporting to the ED, PDS Business Development, you will coordinate matrixed teams, shape governance, and influence senior leadership with risk-based recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural sciences, pharmacy, supply chain, business, or a related field required.
• Advanced scientific, technical, or business degree preferred, including an MS, MBA, PharmD, or PhD.

Responsibilities

• Lead PDS activities for acquisitions, in-licensing, integrations, divestitures, out-licensing, and strategic alliances.
• Serve as the primary PDS representative on cross-functional deal teams with subject matter experts.
• Lead technical, CMC, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply-chain, and operational assessments with PDS experts.
• Translate functional findings into risk assessments, recommendations, and transition plans for leadership.
• Ensure PDS risks, assumptions, dependencies, and value are reflected in recommendations.
• Partner with Corporate BD, Legal, Finance, Global Alliances to develop PDS transaction positions.
• Lead or support negotiation of PDS-related contractual provisions (supply, transfer, governance).
• Oversee PDS integration, separation, and transition workstreams from planning to stabilization.
• Coordinate timelines, risks, and deliverables; align with post-close commitments.
• Track and optimize alliances with significant supply, analytical, quality, or CMC components.

Education
