Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in compliance, investigations, auditing, quality improvement, healthcare, child welfare, or related regulatory environments.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with regulated environments (NYS Justice Center, OPWDD, OMH, ACS, DOH, OCFS, NYSED, and other entities) strongly preferred.
• Valid, non-restricted New York State driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incident management, investigations, regulatory reporting across all agency programs.
• Assign, oversee, and conduct investigations involving incidents, allegations, complaints, and regulatory concerns.
• Review investigative reports to ensure findings are objective, thorough, accurate, and timely.
• Ensure incidents, investigations, regulatory notifications, corrective actions, and follow-up comply with applicable regulations.
• Develop and improve systems, processes, tools, and workflows for efficiency and accountability.
• Coordinate incident review committees and cross-departmental meetings.
• Analyze trends to identify risks and recommend improvements.
