Job summary

Kymera Therapeutics is seeking a lead PBPK/PBBM scientist to drive its modeling capability. You will define workflows, build mechanistic models, and work with cross-functional teams to support regulatory submissions and development programs.

You will translate preclinical data into human predictions, optimize formulations with CMC partners, and advance projects through translational modeling. This role requires deep DMPK expertise and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or PharmD (or equivalent) in pharmaceutical sciences or related field with 7+ years of hands-on PBPK/PBBM experience.
• Deep understanding of ADME/DMPK and biopharmaceutics principles.
• Significant hands-on GastroPlus experience with independent modeling.
• Proven ability to build mechanistic PBPK models translating preclinical data to human PK.
• Experience with regulatory submissions (IND/NDA) related to biopharmaceutics.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand Kymera's PBPK/PBBM capability, defining workflows, standards, and software strategy.
• Apply translational PBPK/PBBM to predict human PK and oral bioavailability across species and doses.
• Partner with CMC on formulation selection and optimization through PBBM.
• Develop IVIVC and mechanistic dissolution models to link product performance to in vivo behavior.
• Apply PBPK to clinical questions to inform study design and dose adjustments.
• Embed within cross-functional project teams and liaise with CROs for data generation.
