Job summary

Cast & Crew Entertainment Services, LLC is seeking a Director, Payroll Tax in the United States with leadership experience to oversee tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities for US and Canada. You will partner with Finance, HR, Technology, and Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and drive improvements at scale.

The role requires deep payroll tax expertise, strong analytical abilities, and hands-on leadership of a growing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll tax experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience leading payroll tax operations in large, multi-state/multi-jurisdiction organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of payroll tax professionals (6).
• Oversee payroll tax filings, payments, and compliance for US/Canada entities.
• Act as primary contact for regulatory agencies on audits and inquiries.
• Collaborate to develop payroll tax strategies and process improvements.
• Oversee year-end payroll tax processing including W-2s and filings.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls for payroll tax.
