Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a Director of Product Management to own the Payments line of business within Financial Services. You will lead Group PMs across North America and EMEA and be accountable for payments penetration and GPV growth across our Retail and Hospitality platforms.

You will report to the VP of Product, Financial Services, and partner with Engineering Directors, Design leaders, and Commercial executives to drive multi-year transformations and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading large product teams (or equivalent seniority)
• Experience owning a full line of business or major product vertical (payments, billing, or POS)
• Proven track record hiring, developing, and promoting product leaders
• Strong executive presence with VP/C-suite partners
• Deep understanding of business models, pricing, and P&L impact

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year product strategy for Payments aligned with company OKRs and P&L targets
• Own line-of-business outcomes: payments penetration, GPV growth, onboarding conversion
• Lead and coach Group PMs and Senior PMs across Retail and Hospitality platforms
• Hire top talent and create clear career paths and succession plans
• Raise product management standards in discovery, pricing, and data-driven execution
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to align targets
• Consolidate fragmented payments capabilities into a cohesive platform across products
• Balance long-term platform bets with quarterly commitments and trade-offs
• Represent product direction to the C-suite and Board with clear metrics
