What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Patient Financial Services, including accounts receivable, collections, reimbursement, customer service, and other key revenue cycle functions.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve cash collections, reduce AR days, minimize denials, and enhance overall financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop management teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and financial results.
- Partner with clinical, operational, compliance, finance, and executive teams to support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, payer requirements, and revenue cycle best practices.
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and technology enhancements.
- Drive patient-centered financial processes that improve both reimbursement outcomes and the patient experience.
What We're Looking For
- Progressive leadership experience within Patient Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, or Healthcare Financial Operations.
- Proven success leading large-scale revenue cycle teams and complex healthcare operations.
- Strong knowledge of patient access, billing, collections, denials management, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing operational performance through KPIs, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational change and developing high-performing teams.
Ideal Background
- Hospital or health system revenue cycle leadership experience.
- Experience overseeing large, multi-site or multi-functional PFS operations.
- Strong understanding of payer reimbursement methodologies, denials prevention, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Experience working in complex healthcare environments with significant operational scale.
