Job summary

Denali Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Director of Patient Support Strategy & Operations to design and scale patient support programs, including the Patient Access Hub, affordability and provider support pathways.

The role requires strategic thinking and operational execution to ensure onboarding, therapy initiation and a high-quality patient/provider experience, with remote-eligible work and monthly travel to SSF HQ.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 10+ years in pharma/biotech patient support, access, or hub operations.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience launching patient support programs, incl. hybrid field/HUB models.
• Knowledge of US payer systems (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare) and copay programs.
• Experience managing external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategies to support product launches and lifecycle management.
• Design and operate Patient Access Hub services (benefits investigation, PA support, appeals, case management).
• Establish and refine PAP eligibility criteria and access frameworks.
• Develop patient affordability programs including copay assistance.
• Define provider support pathways to reduce access barriers.
• Oversee day-to-day Patient Access Hub operations and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to manage risk.
