Job summary

Abeona Therapeutics seeks a Director, Patient Access & Reimbursement to lead payer relations and market access across the U.S. This role focuses on pre- and post-approval engagement, health economic data, and payer education to enable access for our therapies.

The candidate should have extensive experience with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer policies, and a track record of strategic leadership in reimbursement programs, including for rare cell and gene therapies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Pharmacy, or Biologic Science.
• 12+ years in pharma/biotech, with 10+ years in complex reimbursement, payer relations, and market access.
• Experience with rare, cell, or gene therapies preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies.
• Proven leadership and strategic relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison with HUB provider, payers, and care centers.
