Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Director of PATH Services to lead PATH’s substance use prevention, intervention and recovery programs within the Division of Student Affairs. You will set strategic goals, oversee staff, budget, and external partnerships to support 32,000 students.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Health and Wellbeing, the role requires clinical credibility, strong communication, and a commitment to equity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in higher education settings with college student development.
• Budget management across multiple fund sources.
• FERPA and HIPAA compliance training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead PATH Services strategic plan and evaluation framework.
• Directly supervise four professional staff and manage budgets.
• Build and sustain relationships with diverse campus and community partners.
