Qualifications

• 7–10 years in logistics, transportation, or eCommerce fulfillment.
• 5+ years in parcel transportation, including carrier management.
• Experience managing multi-carrier programs across national/local providers.
• Experience negotiating carrier contracts and rate agreements.
• Experience managing P&L, freight spend, and billing controls.
• Experience leading cross-functional, customer‑facing teams.
• Experience supporting new business pursuits and executive reviews.
• Deep knowledge of parcel market dynamics and rate structures.
• Strategic leadership to scale a parcel solution.
• Carrier sourcing and relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and commercialize DHL Supply Chain’s parcel transportation solution.
• Design parcel programs meeting service, cost, speed, and customer experience.
• Support pursuit activity and customer expansions with compelling value propositions.
• Establish customer-facing reviews covering service, cost, and profitability.
• Lead parcel carrier strategy and contract negotiations.
• Monitor market changes to keep the solution competitive.
• Ensure programs are financially sound and compliant.
• Create scalable operating processes for onboarding and daily management.
• Coordinate with fulfillment, IT, and carrier partners through final-mile delivery.
• Define analytics roadmap and dashboards for leadership reviews.
• Build and develop a high-performing team.
• Set goals, accountability, and succession plans.
