Job summary

WPP Media Limited, a leading AI-driven media operating unit, seeks a Director of Paid Social to drive strategic excellence and commercial growth across the agency’s Paid Social discipline. You will lead a 22-person team across onshore and offshore hubs, ensure campaign activation, governance, and ROI-aligned strategies.

As a senior leader, you will manage executive relationships, approve media recommendations, champion platform innovation, and foster a high-performing, empathetic culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Paid Social activation.
• 3+ years leading teams of 20+ members (onshore and offshore).
• Deep command of Meta, Google/YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok; media automation (MAT).
• Proven track record in executive stakeholder management and agency financials.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and progress a 22-person onshore/offshore team.
• Drive an inclusive, high-performing culture with quarterly check-ins.
• Provide Director-level signoff on media recommendations and client reports.
• Enforce QA processes and data integrity standards; resolve issues within 3 days.
• Cultivate relationships with senior client executives and platform leads.
• Serve as primary escalation point for account friction and brand safety concerns.
• Oversee staffing allocations, recruitment pipelines, and workload balancing.
• Ensure on-time completion of timesheets, scope management, and invoicing.
