Job summary

Kendo Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Director of Packaging Development for Fenty to lead high-quality, cost-efficient packaging from concept through manufacturing in our San Francisco hybrid office. You will guide technical and aesthetic decisions across projects and manage supplier engagement to ensure on-time delivery.

Lead a team of 2–5 packaging developers, collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Operations, and drive sustainability and process improvements across the packaging function.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Packaging Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in package development/engineering at a best-in-class beauty company.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetics packaging and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical, aesthetic & cost aspects of design, incl. concept ideation and 3D design.
• Oversee projects of all types (sellable, non-sellable, samples, accessories).
• Execute feasibility on design, COGS, manufacturing capabilities and timing.
• Identify suitable suppliers based on project requirements.
• Oversee packaging testing, analyze results and assess risk.
• Lead packaging tooling efforts and line trials with specs.
