Shorr Packaging Corp in Des Moines, IA seeks a Director, PAG to lead the development and execution of the automation go-to-market strategy and solutions for its national footprint, across packaging automation, supplier alignment, product selection and customer solutions.

This role carries P&L responsibility for the $50M Packaging Automation Group and oversees the Packaging Automation Sales, Field Service Technician, and Parts & Service teams, guiding sales, vendor performance, project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years at senior level in the business.
• Strong understanding of packaging automation sales, service and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Profitably grow revenue and margins through packaging automation solutions.
• Drive department process improvements to ensure exceptional customer experience.
• Create metrics for AR, tech support, parts sales and repeat business.
• Align team resources to support sales with technical expertise and pricing.
• Maintain manufacturer relationships and programs to support field sales.
• Evaluate new technology to present emerging automation programs.
