Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, Material Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Typically requires 12 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of advanced education and experience, including 5 years of leadership/management experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging design, materials, and qualification processes.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical packaging engineering teams responsible for late-stage development, commercialization and supply of Vertex products.
• Support regulatory on packaging-related CMC strategy and market applications.
• Represent MS&T on corporate/strategic teams and contribute to long-range planning.
• Provide leadership to resolve critical packaging operations issues with stakeholders.
• Review and approve strategically important documents for the department.
• Define strategy and champion continuous improvement of packaging operations.
• Recruit, direct, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Develop annual plans aligning operational strategy with business goals.
