Job summary

Northern Children’s Services is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services & Programs to lead the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the Outpatient Program.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Behavioral Health, you will ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care, strong census and financial sustainability, and measurable client outcomes. This role blends clinical oversight with administrative discipline and data-driven accountability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline and licensure to practice in PA.
• Six+ years in health or social services with at least three years in a supervisory/administrative role.
• Licenses include LAPC, LBS, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, PsyD/PhD; active clinical licensure in PA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Outpatient Program's clinical and administrative operations.
• Monitor EHR documentation quality and clinical work approvals.
• Ensure strong clinical supervision structures and trauma-informed practices.
• Maintain treatment plans that are current and outcomes-focused.
• Provide supervision to therapists, program staff, and interns.
• Manage budgets, compliance, and program audits.
• Promote data-informed leadership with dashboards and reporting.
