Job summary

Coachella Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services to lead and grow our PHP/IOP program. This onsite role in Indio, California will oversee daily operations, clinical quality, and business development to drive growth and improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician (Master’s or Doctorate) with at least 4 years in behavioral health, including 2+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate-level Licensed Clinician (e.g., LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/PsyD/PhD) is required.
• Minimum 4 years in behavioral healthcare with 2+ years in operations/management.
• Experience with PHP and IOP levels of care is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of PHP and IOP programs, including occasional group facilitation.
• Drive key business metrics: volume, revenue, patient retention, satisfaction, and clinical quality.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, accreditation, and contractual obligations.
• Support business development and outreach to grow admissions and brand awareness.
• Coordinate program planning, staff workload, and care delivery across the patient continuum.
