Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud seeks a Director of OT Engineering in Spartanburg County, SC to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across the OT infrastructure stack. You will lead a team responsible for Windows Active Directory, IAM, security appliances, virtualization platforms, and storage within OT/ICS environments.

You will collaborate with the Director of OT Cybersecurity to align engineering with security architecture, drive multi-year roadmaps, and ensure compliance with IEC 62443, NIST

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the OT engineering strategy and multi-year infrastructure roadmap.
• Provide senior technical leadership and people management to the OT team.
• Own the Active Directory and hybrid Azure/Entra ID architecture for OT environments.
• Lead IAM strategy for OT environments including RBAC, MFA, PAM.
• Oversee design and management of security appliances within OT infrastructure.
• Direct OT virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Kubernetes).
• Own OT storage strategy (SAN/NAS/object storage) and backup architectures.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, CIS Benchmarks.
• Lead DR and BC planning for OT systems.
• Collaborate with OT Cybersecurity to integrate engineering into security architecture.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and procurement.
• Establish change/configuration/documentation standards.
• Drive training and certification for the team.
• Produce executive-level infrastructure health/risk reports.
• Lead cross-functional projects across OT network, cybersecurity, and operations.
