Transamerica is seeking a Director of ORM Methodology and Reporting to shape how operational risk is identified, assessed, monitored, and communicated across the enterprise. The role leads development of ORM methodologies, standards, and reporting, translating complex risk information into clear, decision-useful insights for senior leadership, risk committees, and the Board.

The successful candidate will partner with business leaders across the organization to strengthen risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
• 12 years of experience in operational risk management or internal controls.
• Progressive leadership experience in ORM, internal controls, or audit.
• Knowledge of risk management principles including risk & control identification, testing, and metrics.
• Ability to interact with senior management and risk committees.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for ORM methodology and standards across the enterprise.
• Own and evolve the operational risk policy, framework, and methodologies.
• Lead development of enterprise risk reporting, dashboards, and forward-looking insights.
• Translate complex risk information into clear narratives for executives and the Board.
• Oversee governance and execution of risk issue management and remediation tracking.
• Embed ORM methodology into major business and technology initiatives.
• Provide second-line challenge to process design and control effectiveness.
