Key responsibilities include developing transaction structure, negotiating deal terms with sponsors and borrowers, spearheading due diligence, and leading legal documentation review and negotiation. The role also involves monitoring ongoing performance of existing credits.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of overall experience, with 6–10+ years at a buy-side credit or direct lending fund, or in leveraged finance or debt capital markets at an investment bank. Strong financial modeling skills, deal execution experience, and the ability to interface with sponsors and management teams are required.
