Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, IS, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in financial systems leadership, including biotech or regulated industry.
• Deep Oracle EBS Financials expertise and experience with financial systems governance.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit support.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors/partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting technology strategy, roadmap, and governance for Oracle EBS and related finance systems.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and IT to define and deliver system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
• Oversee design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle EBS financial modules.
• Drive process improvements and automation across accounting operations, including close, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing.
• Ensure systems support accurate, timely, and compliant accounting operations and reporting requirements.
• Maintain strong internal control environments by partnering with Controllership, Compliance, and Internal Audit on SOX/audit needs.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing strategy, and UAT for system changes.
• Evaluate and improve upstream/downstream integrations affecting accounting data and reporting.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for system effectiveness, data quality, and process efficiency.
• Manage finance technology initiatives, including cross-functional projects and partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams supporting accounting systems and finance technology operations.
