Job summary

Huron Consulting Group seeks an Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Solution Architect in Chicago on a hybrid basis. You will drive end-to-end architecture for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, align business goals with Oracle capabilities, and partner with finance leadership to shape transformation strategies.

You will design processes for GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and reporting; mentor teams, govern initiatives, and support business development through demos and proposals. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years delivering Oracle ERP solutions, incl. Oracle Cloud Financials.
• 5+ years leading large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP transformations as Architect roles.
• Deep functional expertise across Oracle Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Tax, Financial Reporting, Revenue Management).
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and compliance.
• Experience facilitating executive workshops and roadmap discussions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and functional design for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementations and transformations.
• Serve as primary architecture lead across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between business objectives, best practices, and Oracle Cloud capabilities.
• Partner with executive stakeholders, finance leadership, and sponsors to define transformation strategies and operating models.
• Design and optimize finance processes including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Tax, Revenue Management, and Reporting.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud ERP designs.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation and data conversion requirements.
• Provide leadership to consultants, analysts, and technical teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive architecture decisions, risk mitigation, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with integration teams for interoperability across systems.
• Lead CRPs, validation activities, testing strategy, and production readiness.
• Guide change and adoption to align tech with business transformation.
• Support business development with demos, proposals and client presentations.
• Contribute to thought leadership and methodology development.
