• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing nurses and clinical staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day nursing operations across the Downstate region.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop RNs and Clinical Coordinators.
• Ensure appropriate clinical staffing and workload distribution.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and ongoing staff development.
• Oversee caregiver education, competency programs, and in-service training.
• Maintain compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policies.
• Lead internal audits, investigate incidents, and implement corrective action plans.
• Oversee complaint resolution and regulatory follow-up.
• Review clinical documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
• Partner with Human Resources, Coordination, and Operations to improve clinical workflows.
• Support regulatory surveys, audits, emergency preparedness planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on high-risk clinical matters and strategic operational initiatives.
