Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Provide operational leadership and management for KNX Logistics, yielding operational excellence to its customers.
- Provide management and leadership to ensure satisfactory return to shareholders; manage, develop and lead logistics leaders in establishing and maintaining a superior work environment, ensuring the coordination and balance of orders and carriers.
- Build relationships of trust and cooperative learning across Swift Logistics and Swift Transportation.
- Train, develop and direct the management of information ensuring all operational systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are continuously reviewed, evaluated and enhanced. Create an environment where problem finding is encouraged and problem solving is everyone's purpose.
- Ensure that management staff is available and trained to provide exceptional customer service and control costs.
- Ensure that logistics operations is developing personnel and communicating government regulations where required.
- Work with the management on hiring the workforce, setting and measuring goals and objectives, and review weekly and monthly reporting for Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Ensure that the logistics company meets the highest possible service levels by managing commitments, working directly with the sales force in the development of new and current business, and working directly with customers to ensure service levels meet customer requirements.
- Manage the productivity and profitability of the Logistics accounts by crafting and implementing specific growth plans, controlling costs, monitoring billing processes and maximizing account profitability.
- Develop and implement effective customer and employee onboarding, retention plan, growth plans.
- Improve data integrity (ISO) in all processes and systems by periodic review of processes, flow charts and process maps.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 7+ years related experience in logistics operations required.
- Previous experience in Logistics/Brokerage industry required.
- Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Must possess excellent problem finding and solving skills.
- Must be able to motivate and inspire team members to be responsible and proactive to internal and external customer needs and requests.
- Must be able to transfer knowledge to others.
- Must be able to develop and implement methods and practices which yield exceptional service, profitability and results.
