Job summary

BCD Travel Group is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our remote US-based team and drive our centralized service strategy. You will define processes for shared and dedicated support teams, ensuring they meet evolving service needs for BCD Travel and our customers.

You will set departmental goals, educate cross-functional teams on service scope, manage budgets, and mentor staff to achieve KPIs while fostering strategic and tactical problem-solving across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a customer service organization
• Thorough knowledge of the travel industry, fares and markets
• Excellent oral and written English communication
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively simultaneously
• Ability to lead – setting direction, developing teamwork and collaboration
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

In this role, you will drive our centralized service strategy by ensuring our services continue to best meet the needs of BCD Travel and our customers. You will be responsible for defining and designing processes for these teams that best support our evolving operational service strategy including both shared and dedicated support teams.

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director Operations is between $100,000 and $125,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.

This position requires flexibility regarding work schedules. Assignments may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as determined by business needs.
